On the morning of 10-1-190, in Aksharderi in Gondal, Shastriji Maharaj initiated Shantibhagat and gave the name Narayana Swarupadas and Yogiji Maharaj blessed me in a typical manner.
From the same weed, his personal desire, hope, all renunciation, he was determined to surrender only for the pleasure of Guru. Shastriji Maharaj, a shrewd and prodigious Pandit, recognized the diamond of Narayanswarupadas and gave it only to 5 year old Naranda on Ta. On 31-9-190, a huge BAPS was set up at Ambli. (Bochasanvasi Aksharpurushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha) and then Narayanaswarupadas came to be known as 'Pramukhaswami'.
Although Swamiji was very reluctant to accept the presidency, but in the end, obeying everyone's insistence and especially for the pleasure of Guruhari Shastriji Maharaj, he accepted his obedience and fulfilled the vow of surrender for the rest of his life. Swamiji leaves home for nine decades for public interest .
