An empty chip of the prom is made on which the yogram is held by a special act, called a promitter. There is another special type of prom, called Eral Prom (EPROM). The details written on this EPROM can be erased by keeping them exposed to the Astraviolet light. When an electric signal is used instead of an ultraviolet light to erase the details on the prom, this type of memory is electrically erasable prom (Extically Eacable PROM FEPROOMS). EEPROM is very useful in the production of micro SD cards etc.
