Multidisciplinary teaching in primary school Multiple pedagogy is used when the teacher has to do more than one class at a time.  There are approximately 6 lakh villages in India, most of which have a population of less than 500.  While there are villages whose population is less than 300.  Hence the need to use multi-grade education system in small villages.

The number of children in the age group of 6 to 11 years is 15% of the total population.  Therefore, very few children attend school in such villages.  If the ratio of teacher to student is 1:30, only one or two teachers can be given in a village school.  In this way, multidisciplinary education becomes an inevitable reality in the Indian education system.  From this point of view, how can education be done in multi-grade schools?  Let's try to understand it by weaving three things instead of thinking about it.

1. Developing class system in multi-class education system: In multi-class education system, having to sit with children of more than one standard in the same class, they have to experience some confusions while teaching.  For this, the teacher is expected to see that the classroom is carefully planned.  At the same time, another important thing is that since children of different classes are studying together, care must be taken to create a proper learning environment.

Here a teacher finds a strange mix of children in the age group of 6 to 11, whose planning becomes unimaginable.  In such a situation, if a group of children of the same age group i.e. 1st and 2nd standard can be allotted to one teacher, then teaching will become a task.  When it is difficult for a teacher to organize activities such as group instruction or sports when children in a heterosexual group feel uncomfortable sitting, teaching or playing, children of almost the same age should be categorized into classes based on heterogeneous perspectives.

Equality is maintained.  Class-seating arrangements should be different from normal seating arrangements in different standard study situations.  Yam uma j.  B.  Joshi In the current class system, children are sitting facing the blackboard.  At that time the teacher teaches one class of children using a blackboard.  At this point other standard students are distracted.  In such a situation students need to have a classroom that is at least distracting.  For this, there should be a conducive and changeable class system for teaching-learning work, this change should be in line with the working group, self-study activity as well as group activity in the class.  For this, the children of each class should be seated facing the different walls of the school.

Bright, normal and weak children should be kept together in the seating arrangement to facilitate group work, as well as for equality and mutual cooperation between them.  In multicultural education, the teacher should also consider assistants who will be helpful in his work.  For this, bright students should choose an assistant monitor who will be helpful in class work.  Students with bright and leadership qualities should be selected first to guide the class in their absence.

Even giving them proper instruction and a little training will help them in their work.  For this, bright students should be encouraged to be helpful in class work.  2. Planning of activities and timing of various subjects: Usually in primary school the teacher teaches all the subjects in the class.  While in a school with a multi-grade pedagogy, the teacher focuses on important subjects.  It is only able to focus on the important part of the subject education as well as the important activities.  Yet in such a situation the teacher always feels the stress of time.

In multicultural education, a schedule should be created so that the teacher can make maximum use of time.  Suppose a teacher has to run three classes simultaneously.  In these circumstances the teacher will need an assistant.  In this class, a student with bright and leadership qualities has to be selected.  How would you use a monitor to help you with your work?  How do you keep children working in small groups?  Suppose you have to divide the work into one hour, then you can plan the work by allocating time as follows.
